Common Bowls Club formed in 1938 whne the park was created
was formerly closed by the Sutton Council Parks Department
due to financial cuts at the end of the Bowls Season 2023. A
sad day for Bowlers in Sutton.

SUTTON COMMON BOWLS CLUB was founded in
1938 and is affiliated to Bowls Surrey and Bowls England.
We are a small and friendly group of bowlers who play
outdoor bowls in a local mixed league as well as having
friendly matches with the clubs in Sutton. We run regular
club events and competitions. The Green is open to members 7
days a week. Bowls is not only a good way to get exercise it
is very sociable matches always finish with a cup of tea and
biscuits and a good chat! We have a qualified coach to show
you how bowls is played and other members of the club are
always willing to pass on tips and help.
We can provide all equipment including bowls for new
players.
